BIOS2 is hosting a workshop about making websites with HUGO. Pr. Dominique Gravel (Canada Research Chair in Integrative Ecology and Director of BIOS2) and Dr. Guillaume Larocque (Research professional at Quebec Centre for Biodiversity Science) will lead this training session on December 7 – 8 2020 from 1 to 3 PM (EST).
The BIOS² Research Funding Program in partnership supports PhD projects proposed by non-academic partner. The overall theme of the call is “improving biodiversity assessments with new computing technologies”.

The Undergraduate scholarship program for training in computational ecology is now open.
Wildlife Conservation Society Canada (WCSC) is leading a collaborative effort to identify and establish a comprehensive national network of Key Biodiversity Areas (KBAs) in Canada. WCSC will identify KBAs, which are sites that will contribute significantly to the global persistence of biodiversity, through the application of a new global standard, which is currently being introduced and adapted to the Canadian context.
