Research interests
Professor Calosi’s research focuses on the evolution of physiological systems and how this evolution contributes to defining the biogeography of organisms and their vulnerability to warming, acidification and deoxygenation. In particular, his work attempts to demonstrate whether adaptation to global factors can occur quickly enough to prevent local and global extinction.
