Collaborative members are supporting organizations or representatives motivated by usage of novel computational techniques to improve biodiversity monitoring and assessments. The diversity of supporting organizations is a strong asset for interdisciplinary training experience, including all levels of government (local, regional, provincial, federal), NGOs, biodiversity monitoring programs, citizen science, as well as heavy industry. Collaborative members contribute to the training activities, either as a monitor (e.g. host for internships), collaborators to research (e.g. participant to workshops) or as a trainee (e.g. summer school or training package).

All collaborators from non-academic institutions can become a collaborative member.

Application process:

To become a BIOS2 Collaborative Member, supporting organizations or representatives have to send a short letter of motivation to the direction team (link to info.bios) in which they will detail their motivation expectations and contributions.

Funding and ressources:

Partners will be offered the opportunity to submit PhD project (BIOS² Funding Program for PhD project in partnership), propose problem-solving workshops, work with interns and access the training activities.
